All audiobooks voiced by content creators are published exclusively on the Aural app. Their distribution outside the app is prohibited and is protected in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
Who owns the copyright to a spoken audiobook?
Audiobooks narrated and published by content creators are copyrighted by SIA Aural. SIA Aural has received permission from the authors and/or publishing houses to reproduce the works indicated in the app and on the website in audio books.
How and how much does a content creator get paid for voiced audiobooks?
The content creator gets paid a percentage of every audiobook sold in the app that users of the app have purchased.
Can a content creator use their social networks and other channels to promote an audiobook?
Yes, we encourage and recommend promoting an audiobook on our channels to increase audiobook sales. The remuneration of the content creator is tied to sales volumes - the more books sold, the higher the remuneration.
Are there any restrictions on promoting audiobooks for content creators to promote on their influencer channels?
A clip of up to 60 seconds from the spoken audiobook may be used for promotional purposes.
